Description:

Palette & Palate combines the joy of art with the excitement of cooking: hands-on art projects that allow students to explore different mediums like painting, drawing, or sculpting are offered alongside culinary projects that focus on using fresh, seasonal ingredients and developing cooking skills. Activities are themed. For instance, students might focus on a specific holiday or celebration, type of medium in both art and cooking or even creatively fuse inspiration from a story. In each session, students will learn about colors, textures, and flavors. Students can explore their creativity in multiple ways, nurturing their artistic and culinary interests. The BAA pick-up policy will take effect for anyone arriving after 3:45 for pick-up ($15) DISCOUNT FOR MULTIPLE SESSIONS OFFERED AT TIME OF REGISTRATION. Once registered, fees are due. Any cancellations will result in a credit in the next set of programs.

Description:

Sports and Recreational Activities [SRA] focuses on fostering physical fitness, skill development, teamwork, and enjoyment through various physical activities. Students engage in structured sports such as kickball, football, and ultimate frisbee, learning rules, techniques, and strategies while improving coordination and stamina. Recreational activities like playing old-time street games or backyard challenges like corn hole, running bases, etc are also included to promote overall participation, sportsmanship, and the benefits of regular physical exercise for a healthy lifestyle. This enrichment class can also satisfy 1/2 of the 1.0 PE credits needed.
